This bond will fund the creation of the city’s first dedicated Burn Center, a state-of-the-art Comprehensive Cancer Center, and other critical healthcare facilities, ensuring every El Pasoan has access to life-saving care without the need to travel.

This bond will create over 4,400 construction jobs and more than 500 permanent, high-paying healthcare positions, boosting our local economy and ensuring better healthcare access for all.
Key Projects Funded by the Bond
Project 1: El Paso’s First Dedicated Burn Center
The bond would establish El Paso’s first dedicated burn center, ensuring that critical burn patients receive immediate, life-saving care without needing to be transported to distant cities.
Project 2: Comprehensive Cancer Center
A collaborative effort with Texas Tech Health El Paso, this center will provide every aspect of cancer care—from diagnosis to recovery—under one roof. El Paso cancer patients can receive all their treatments locally, from surgery to radiation, without the burden of travel.
Project 3: Geriatric Care Clinic
Our seniors deserve the best care. The Geriatric Care Clinics will provide comprehensive services tailored to the needs of our aging population.
